Itinerary

  • Morning: Arrive at Zembalo Gesualdo and check into your room. Take some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

    Afternoon: Visit Cantina Fiorentino with a wine introduction course led by the owner and wine-maker, Gianni Fiorentino.

    Evening: Dinner at the local trattoria, enjoying local dishes paired with Irpinian wines. Explore the town of Gesualdo, known for its historic castle and charming streets.

  • Morning: After breakfast, head to Atripalda to visit Mastroberardino, a leading winery famous for Fiano di Avellino. Enjoy a guided tour and tastings.

    Lunch at a local restaurant, pairing traditional dishes with Mastroberardino wines.

    Afternoon: Visit to Cantina Feudi San Gregorio, one of the most modern and renowned wineries in the region, with a tasting of internationally famous wines.

  • Morning: After breakfast travel to Boccella Azienda Agricola, a small family run organic winery. Experience traditional farming activities and taste homemade wines and food.

    Afternoon/Evening: Return to Gesualdo to participate in a local cooking class where you’ll make handmade pasta, pasta sauce, and other Irpinian delights.

  • Morning: After breakfast, visit Cantina Caggiano in Taurasi for tastings and to learn more about their winemaking process. This winery is renowned for its high quality Aglianico grape variety and the estate combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern practices, allowing for the production of wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the local soil and climate.

    Lunch in the village of Taurasi, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

    Afternoon: Visit to the Regional Wine Museum of Taurasi, located in the Castle of Taurasi, for an in-depth look at Irpinia wine history.

    Dinner at the Castle of Taurasi, enjoying an exclusive food and wine experience.

  • Morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Zembalo Gesualdo and check out. If time allows, visit Cantina Antico Castello, a young organic winery for a final tasting session.

    Lunch: Enjoy a light lunch at the winery’s restaurant, if available, before departing. Take some time to purchase local wines or souvenirs.

    Evening: Depart from Gesualdo, taking home wonderful memories and bottles of exquisite wine!
